KOTA KINABALU: House break-ins in Sabah has dropped 20 per cent this year compared with last year.

City police chief Assistant Commisioner Jauteh Dikun said there were 1,759 such cases this year compared with 2,226 cases last year.
"It proves that our awareness campaign was successful in educating the public on crime prevention," he said, adding there were 16,000 people across the state who had registered as Rakan Cop members.
Jauteh was speaking after a police meet-the-client programme on Thursday.
He said such programmes were important to help make the public feel secure with the presence of police personnel around them.
"The police can also get to know the problems faced by the community and take the right measures to solve them."
