KOTA KINABALU: The Jesselton Artisan Market will tantalise shoppers with a wide variety of items for Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day next month.
Jam organiser Aaron lam said the first weekend of February would see The Walk, Riverson here, buzzing with traders offering items for both celebrations.
"The market will be an ideal place for people to buy items such as clothing, accessories and home decorations.
"As usual, there will also be food trucks at the two-day market, which will run from 10am to 6pm," he said, adding that there would be a lion dance performance on Sunday.
Jam is held once every two months to provide a platform for locals to showcase and sell their products.
The organiser of KK Jazz festival will also host a talent search at the market on Sunday between 2pm and 5pm.
Since the inception of the market last year, Lam said he had received positive feedback from both locals and tourists.
"Many say that they want to buy and support local artisanal products, but have no idea where to get them.
"This market serves their needs as the local traders can gather at the same place to market their products," he said.
