KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is well known for its seafood galore that even visitors at Asia City Ramadan bazaar here will be spoilt with choices.

One of those more than 100 stalls at the bazaar is the deep fried crabs sold at RM10 for 4.

The stall worker Azna Alip, 27, said that the spicy mangrove crab is the new menu they have besides grilled fishes.

“The crab is simply deep fried, but the sambal (chili sauce or paste) complement the food.

“We usually have customers coming back to get both the crabs and condiment,” she said.

For bite-sized seafood, head to Elley’s Abdullah’s stall to try out her skewered grilled seafood.

“I will recommend people to try my squids ‘satay’ which the filling is a mixture of tomato and onions.

“Besides that, this stall also has skewered prawns that are glazed with honey,” she said, adding the squid priced at RM7 while the prawn is RM10.

A local visitor, who wants to be known as Emily, said it is her second year coming to bazaar at the Asia City here.

“I do notice that there are more stalls offering seafood as compared to last year.

“Seafood has always been my favourite and this bazaar offers more affordable food as compared to when I go to restaurants in the city,” she said.
