KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor today said the state was not swayed by political volatility at the federal level and that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-led government was strongly intact.

The GRS chairman said he had communicated with all component leaders on the latest political developments in Kuala Lumpur.

"We share the same views and unanimously agree that cooperation in the State government is strong and unshaken.

"We will continue to uphold the mandate given to us at the last State election," Hajiji said in a statement.

He added that GRS leaders were united and pledged that all necessary steps would be taken to further solidify the State Government.

"I pray the political disruptions in Putrajaya will be resolved amicably.

"This is to ensure we can focus our efforts on managing the Covid-19 pandemic, economic recovery and political stability."
