KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has established its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Studio at Wisma Bandaraya here today.
The studio, the first of its kind in Sabah, is expected to support the development and application of AI technology in areas such as education, research and innovation across the state.
The Education, Science, Technology and Innovation minister Datuk James Ratib's visit aimed to review the studio’s facilities and explore its potential role in advancing digital initiatives, in line with the state government’s efforts to promote technology-driven development and strengthen Sabah’s digital economy.
Also present were the ministry’s permanent secretary Hassan Mahali, deputy permanent secretary I Doria Tai Yun Tyng, the minister’s political secretary Justinus Jalang, as well as ministry staff and senior officials from the minister’s office.
