KOTA KINABALU: An investigation into alleged misconduct involving a hospital director in Sabah has been completed.
The Sabah Health Department said a special committee appointed by the Health Ministry to investigate the matter had concluded its probe.
"A thorough investigation has been completed by a special committee appointed by the Health Ministry to investigate the matter.
"The findings of the investigation have been received, and the recommended follow-up actions are currently being implemented in accordance with the relevant procedures and laws in force," it said in a statement.
The department said it does not compromise on any form of misconduct, particularly sexual assault, harassment and workplace bullying.
It said such conduct was contrary to the values of integrity and public service ethics, and could adversely affect the physical and mental well-being of healthcare personnel.
"The department will continue to strengthen efforts to uphold organisational integrity and safeguard the welfare of its workforce," it said.
