Volkswagen Group Malaysia managing director Ricky Tan announced the price at RM245,888.

Pay RM24,000 more to get "the Tech package" extras.

Parents were left free to admire the new model while a clown kept the children occupied with stories, magic shows and games.

Jitu Unggul managing director Ag Ahmad Mat Daud, whose company provided the racing simulators, said: "We give gamers the virtual experience of racing the Volkswagen GTI," he said.
