Petron rebranded 75 per cent of 560 stations nationwide.

KOTA KINABALU:Petron Malaysia has rebranded 420 of all its 560 Esso and Mobil petrol stations nationwide to provide better services.
  The oil company, which is part of Petron Corporation in the Philippines, embodies the red and blue logo as innovative products, excellent service, successful partnerships built on trust, and caring for customers.
  Its retail business head Faridah Ali said that while the company continues to fuel journeys of customers, they had collaborate with Royal Malaysia Police to turn its stations as a "safety points".
 "Public could seek for emergency and security help at the stations nationwide with the presence of police.
 "The rebranding work has also turn our facility into well illuminated places, besides having upgraded and clean toilets as well as prayer rooms,"she said during the Petron's inaugural "Customer Appreciation Day" in the state here yesterday.
  To date, there are 28 Petron petrol stations in Sabah since the company penetrated Malaysia market in April 2012.
  Faridah said the celebration at 16 stations here was to commemorate the introduction of new brand in the state besides thanking customers' support throughout the years.
  During the two-day mini carnival, there would be coloring contest for children, and redemption of loyalty card points among others.
  Five charitable homes and a medical organisation also received contributions of cash, rice, cooking oil and redeemable loyalty points from oil company.
  Motorcyclists were also presented new helmets and safety vests as part of on-going efforts to promote road safety.
