Plagiarism. (Personal)

I may not be the only victim on having my articles published at other newspaper without credit.

By complaining about it here, it doesn't mean that I am bragging about how good my stories are that someone would COPY, PASTE and REPRINT the material.

Like any other journalists, we put an effort to produce articles for the public. Sometimes, along the process, we get scolded or questioned by informants; It also requires a lot of reading and research to ensure the accuracy of the fact.

Thus, the repetitive offence of having  SAME WORDS of my articles in their newspaper seem not to be fair to me nor the organisation.

On the argument of "Every published articles are public info", I do agree on that. But there's another way of re-using it for other publication. It is "RE-ANGLE" or "RE-WRITE".

A well-known English newspaper has been using news content from other Tamil, Chinese and even our sister paper Harian Metro for their publication.  The paper still have good readership.

In short, it will not kill the newspaper by giving credit when using others' work.

Ends.
