Kota Kinabalu jazz fest kicks off tomorrow.

KOTA KINABALU:  The ninth KK Jazz festival will bring four international and six renowned Malaysian talents to woe music lovers tomorrow.

Its organising chairman Jack Ong said among those international artists include American Motown legend Bobby Taylor and fingerstyle guitarist Shun Ng, as well as Indonesians Gugun Blues Shelter and The Rio Sidik Quartet.
  
For the local front, Liyana Fizi, May Mow, Faizul Sany & The Hybrid, Suria Buskers, Headhunters and Quadro Forte will join the line-up to jazz up the festival.
  
Sabah-born Daphne Iking will also be back to emcee the festival that is jointly-organised by the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu (RCKK) and Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu (SPArKS).
  
The two-night festival will be held at Sutera Harbour’s covered Tennis Courts beginning at 7pm. 
  
Ticket prices RM100 while the two-night pass is RM150 per person per night for regular seating. Premier seating ticket per person per night is RM200.
  
There are also table of six seats priced at RM1,000 per night but available on first come first serve basis.

Ong added there would be coupons of RM20 or RM50 on sale during the event to purchase food and beverages.
  
The festival is an annual fund-raising programme fund community projects handled by Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu.
