BEIJING: Developing countries should take the lead in reviving their economy to become stronger, said Communist Party of China (CPC), International Department, Foreign Affairs Coordination Bureau deputy director-general Shi Guohui.

"What China has achieved, is achieving or will achieve should become inspiration to other countries.

"Belt and Road Initiative is selfless and a common community effort for the future," he said, during a closing ceremony of Asian Media Workshop here.

Shi said inspiration is one of the four things that 25 media practitioners from 14 countries would bring home after attending the two weeks programme here and Gansu province.

The other three points, he said are cooperation, friendship and knowledge.

"A win-win cooperation happens when all players come and work together.

"We have to find more opportunities and only through cooperation, will there be prosperity for all."

Earlier, he said the Chinese government has long standing good relationship with its neighbouring countries which saw government-to-government meetings that has now extended to media practitioners.
