KOTA KINABALU: The number of flood victims in Sabah continue to increase as of noon today.
According to the Civil Defence department, the number had increased to 1,210 from 1,007 this morning.
The victims, who are seeking shelter at 15 relief centres, are from 152 villages.
Eleven districts are affected following continuous downpour since Saturday, namely, Beaufort, Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Membakut, Tuaran, Kota Belud, Pitas, Kota Marudu, Tenom and Keningau.
Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal is expected to visit the flood victims at Dewan Tun Said in Kota Belud at 3pm.
