KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has been sworn in as Sulaman assemblyman today.
He was discharged about a week ago after receiving treatment for Covid-19 at the Queen Elizabeth hospital.
The ceremony was held before state assembly speaker Datuk Kadzim Yahya at the state assembly meeting room at Teluk Likas near here.
Also sworn in were appointed assemblyman Datuk Yong Teck Lee, Datuk Amisah Yassin and Sulabayan assemblyman Datuk Jaujan Sambakong.
Yong is Sabah Progressive Party president and Amisah is deputy Sabah Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Srikandi chief.
Jaujan, who is a deputy president from the opposition camp Parti Warisan Sabah, was absent during the assemblymen swearing in early this month as he was undergoing quarantine.
Also present were Sabah secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong and state assembly secretary Shafaruddin Halide.
