KOTA KINABALU: Two leading hotels have clarified that Covid-19 clusters identified in the state are not linked to them.

Sutera Harbour Resorts said the Sutera cluster does not in any way involve the resort but it refers to a construction site along Jalan Utama Sutera Harbour Road.

"At Sutera Harbour Resorts, we are 100 per cent committed in adhering to the standard operating procedures published by the Health Ministry.

"We wish to reiterate that we have been consistently conducting stringent measures to keep our guests and our staff safe," a statement from the resort said.

Shangri-la Rasa Ria Resort in Tuaran also denied that the Ria cluster involved any of its business entities.

"Following the daily press conference today by Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the Director-General of the Health Ministry, a new cluster has been identified as Cluster Ria.

"It is located at Taman Telipok Ria, Tuaran which is more than 15 kilometres from the Rasa Ria Resort."
