KOTA KINABALU: In conjunction with the Chinese New Year season, Pusat Khidmat Rakyat Parlimen Kota Kinabalu collaborated with Foodpanda to organise a meaningful visit to Cheshire Home, bringing festive joy and care to its residents.
The visit was led by the Member of Parliament for Kota Kinabalu, YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin together with representatives from foodpanda, including Mr. Amrishan Singh, Senior Manager, Rider Experience & Regulations from HQ. A team of 20 foodpanda riders joined the initiative, delivering mandarin oranges, festive cheer, and distributing foodpanda vouchers to the residents.
Cheshire Home serves as more than just a shelter — it is a place of physical care and spiritual encouragement, where residents are empowered to develop a sense of belonging and ownership by contributing within their capabilities. The home supports OKU students, patients, and bedridden individuals, nurturing confidence, independence, and community spirit while encouraging mutual care and compassion.
During the visit, Datuk Chan Foong Hin contributed adult diapers, rice, and daily necessities to support the home’s ongoing needs.
